Associate PI, Postdoctoral and Research Associate positions in Ling-Ling Chen’s Laboratory at Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBCB), CAS

Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBCB) is a nation-renowned institution located in the center of Shanghai city, China. Ongoing research projects at SIBCB cover a diverse range of topics in life science (http://www2.sibcb.ac.cn/eindex.asp).

Chen lab focuses on the biogenesis and function of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs). Her group has uncovered new and unexpected insights into lncRNA and RNA biology by identifying previously unknown RNA species and their novel biogenesis pathways. Some these RNAs play important roles in gene regulation and are involved in human diseases, such as Prader-Willi syndrome and cancers. Her lab now takes a combination of genome-wide, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology and imaging tools to define the importance of lncRNAs and circular RNAs in gene regulation. Requirements:

For Associate PI position, successful applicant should have (1) a Ph.D. degree, (2) at least two- year postdoctoral training, (3) sufficient research background in molecular and cell biology and genetics, (4) ambitious, team-work spirit and outstanding in scientific communication.

For Postdoctoral positions, successful applicants should have (1) a Ph.D. degree, (2) research background in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology or genetics, (3) outstanding potential that fits main research directions mentioned above, (4) ambitious, team-work spirit and excellence in scientific communication,

For Research Associate positions, successful applicants should have (1) a master or bachelor degree, (2) research background in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, or animal model, (3) team-work spirit and excellence in scientific communication.
